Lots of goodies out at Ironman Village at the World Championship 2017 expo here in Kona, Hawaii. Enjoy the gallery!
Felt IA Upgrades
Felt has been working on some solutions for the CalPac storage box on its IA bikes, and had the new product available here in Kona. The new pieces look very nice, and a lot more reliable and effective than the previous ones, which would tend not to stay closed.
Quintana Roo PRSix Disc
QR has gone disc brake with its popular PRSix platform. I continue to feel that discs aren't the ideal choice until tire size hits about 30-32mm. But other manufacturers continue to explore this space.
SwissSide Aero Stick
Real-time aero analysis is a growing segment of the tri market, akin to where power meters were 10-15 years ago. There are now a few of these in development, from AlphaMantis, Argon18, and now SwissSide. It will be interesting to see where this goes.
Airstreeem Super Plus TT
Airstreeem (yes, that's three E's in a row) is a small company making this new bike launched at Kona. The good news is that it does a good job of hiding cables, and it has a novel system for disconnecting brake cables. But otherwise I find it a bit lackluster. Check the individual captions for more.
