Here is our full review of the Orbea Ordu OMP. TriRig provides the brakes for this bike, as it was designed to work specifically with our new Omega X stoppers. With that bias disclosed, we really and truly love this bike. It abandons all the strange tube shapes and aesthetic quirks of Orbea models past, and embraces modern aero design in a complete and unqualified way. Only a few other brands have gone all-in this way, most still cling to some kind of aesthetic flourishes that trade good design for a distinctive look. The Ordu OMP uses best-in-class design everywhere, and does so in a particularly good-looking package.
Orbea Ordu OMP
The new Orbea Ordu OMP is a new bike that aims to hit modern superbike aero numbers without resorting to the increasingly-difficult mechanics of integrated parts.
The Ordu OMP comes stock with Omega X brakes, designed to be a perfect aero match for the entire front end complex. We also added our Alpha X bars, which blend nearly perfectly into the raised top tube.
We finished the bike with a SRAM 1x11 drivetrain, Lightning cranks, Dash wheels, Dash saddle, and View-Speed bolt-on aero skewers. This beast is completely race-ready and 15.5 lbs as pictured (yes, including the disc wheel).
