Specialized has just released its all-new Shiv platform for triathletes. The bike is an all-out effort for triathletes that completely ignores the UCI rules and represents not only the fastest bike that Specialized could think up, but the most usable one as well. It's built for speed, but also made to be super easy to build, take apart, travel with, and adjust. Read on for my full report and impressions of this gnarly machine.
Like the earlier Shiv, the rear brake is under the bottom bracket, and fed by a cable coming out of the downtube.
