Misc » Some more odds and ends from around the showroom floor, including Cervelo's T5GB Olympic track bike, some bits from Silca, and Clif Bar's very interesting way to charge your cell phone.

Our first lap around the showroom floor in Vegas yielded some interesting tidbits, including a much-refined and much-improved version of the DaVinci Saddle we first saw two years ago. We also took a close look at the prototype MORF Tech articulating aerobar, but we will detail that in a separate article. Enjoy!

Saddles

A number of cool tri saddles littered the Interbike floor, including the new DaVinci Shapeshifter saddle in its new and elegant form. We snagged a saddle from them and will be doing a detailed review soon. ISM's new PN3.0, in both traditional and all-carbon versions (technically PN means Performance Narrow, but don't worry, we don't quite understand their naming system either). And Cobb had some new models on display, as well as an Ironman-branded Fifty-Five that looks like it has chicken pox.

Oakley

Oakley is making some big moves in the cycling world, adding a complete line of apparel and helmets to their product offerings. The new Aro 7 is a complete TT lid with some snazzy visor colors, but the magnetic visor was decidedly difficult to move on and off, and the helmet is definitely less user-friendly than my current favorite lid, the Giro Aerohead.
