Here is our first day's worth of goodies and hardware from the showroom floor of Interbike at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas.
ISM
ISM had some new saddles on display, including the new all-carbon PN3.0C (yeah, their new naming scheme is confusing). There is also a non-carbon version of the PN3, using traditional materials. The carbon version will come without any padding whatsoever, and retail for north of $400, and clock in at about 200g.
Silca
Silca has been innovating like crazy this year, and had lots of cool stuff to show off. The new sliding T-Handle set looks fantastic, as does the swiss-army multitool (including a spot to carry an extra chain master link), the Ti-Torque ratchet multitool, and the SuperPista pump.
Quintana Roo PRSix
Quintana Roo was not exhibiting at Interbike, but had several PRSix bikes scattered around the floor at different booths. They've developed a new bento box and stem cover that improves the integration of their existing bike, hiding all the cables in the process. Great stuff, and a nice way to improve on the existing hardware.
BiSaddle Da Vinci
We first found this company at last year's Interbike, and were very impressed with their ideas and innovation. But we had some suggestions for revision. BiSaddle has taken their industry and customer feedback to heart, and come up with a new model that looks very, very interesting. It features a sleeker road-friendly shape, adjustable width front and back, and optional elastomers that provide some very real suspension. I am looking forward to trying out the product myself.
Misc
More interesting gear from the floor of Interbike 2016.
