Tim's Shiv looks absolutely beautiful from the front, especially with the TriRig Omega brake and Sigma stem keeping everything narrow and managing the cables.

Tim Don is one of the most decorated athletes in the sport of triathlon. He built his career on the ITU circuit, first winning a Junior World Champion title, and then moving on to the senior bracket with excellent results, winning a number of races outright, and maintaining a high ITU ranking throughout his career. More recently, he has moved into the Ironman circuit, starting with 70.3 races in 2013 and 2014, and will compete in his first full-Ironman-distance race later this year.

Tim reached out to TriRig.com asking if we could help with some equipment cleanup, and as usual, we are only too happy to work with an athlete of Tim's calibre. We installed Omega SV brakes on the front and rear of his Specialized Shiv, and put a TriRig Sigma stem up front to hold onto his Enve SES aerobar. Furthermore, we cleaned up the cable routing, and ensured that his BTA setup was as sleek as can be. Tim is ready to race the Panama 70.3 in about 10 days time, and we wish him the best at that race, and for the rest of the season.

Enjoy the small gallery, with images of Tim Don and his beautiful bike. Go Tim!!!

  • Tim's Shiv looks absolutely beautiful from the front, especially with the TriRig Omega brake and Sigma stem keeping everything narrow and managing the cables.
  • Tim Don's Specialized Shiv with TriRig components and Enve SES aerobars. Looks pretty slick, doesn't it?
  • Here's the front end of Tim Don's bike. All the Di2 wires are managed by the Shiv's 'Sewer Tube' liner routing and the Sigma's excellent cable management, as well as the TriRig Service Course Treatment. From the front, everything is TOTALLY hidden from the wind, keeping Tim's bike aerodynamically optimal.
  • Another angle on the Enve SES bar.
  • Tim is a humble, relaxed fellow who clearly loves what he does.
  • Tim Don is happy to point out that he's rolling with TriRig gear on his Shiv. We are proud to have him represent our kit! Thanks Tim!!!
