188,090 Here's the lovely front end on the new Shiv, with the 25mm spacer stack in place. I ended up removing the spacer to match my position, even though this is a size Small. Down the road, I'd rather ride a size Medium, and put on a low-stack bar like the Easton Attack TT or the Felt Devox. Because the Shiv supports standard stems and bars natively, this will be an easy thing to do.
Specialized has just released its all-new Shiv platform for triathletes. The bike is an all-out effort for triathletes that completely ignores the UCI rules and represents not only the fastest bike that Specialized could think up, but the most usable one as well. It's built for speed, but also made to be super easy to build, take apart, travel with, and adjust. Read on for my full report and impressions of this gnarly machine.
