Epix Gear has continued to progress their brand while maintaining the foundation of what makes their suits great: excellent cuts, quality construction, and awesome styling. I ordered a batch of custom suits, just for TriRig, to see what the process would be like. And Epix did a great job. Their Xclusive suit program allows you to order a custom suit, fully-sublimated, with NO minimums. Order just one suit if you like!


This is the TriRig custom one-piece suit from Epix. We sent in our design ideas, had some back-and-forth collaboration, and settled on this final design. I love it.

The design came out exactly as it looked in our renderings, and fits great.

The suit is all quality.

The fully-sublimated graphics will never crack or wash off. They look great, even up close.

Based on the quality of Epix Gear's other kit, I can say with confidence that this is a piece that will last and last.

I chose to get the Standard cut, because of the ample storage space in the pockets out back. They can hold a lot of gear for when you need it, or hug flat when you don't.

Custom suits based on the Standard cut feature a minimal chamois, which is good for racing, but might leave you wanting a bit for training days.

The silicon leg grippers keep the suit from riding up.

The Airflow Coldblack features advanced fabric, and tasteful, minimal styling. This suit is much like the one-piece version I tested previously.

The black-and-white styling is subtle and elegant.

The back features a large white mesh to keep the suit very breathable. All the black parts are Coldblack.

The two-piece suit is comfortalbe and versatile.

The Airflow suit features one pocket on each leg, great for gels.

For the Airflow cut, the actual text of the Epix logo is the part that grips your leg.

The Airflow suit features a much more supple chamois, suitable for longer training days as well as racing.

A single zippered pocket on the back limits storage space, but should be enough for shorter races. If you're doing an Ironman, you might want to supplement with some kind of belt storage, or use the leg pockets.

This one is a two-piece, which is more convenient for getting it on and off. But Epix also makes the Airflow in a one-piece design.
