On paper, I was ready to conclude that the Triad SL was an also-ran, that it was just following the existing trends set by others. But taking a real look at the bike has me really excited about its execution. It's a bike that's made very conscious decisions about what works in terms of aero goodies, and what isn't worth the trouble. If you can ride one without too large a spacer stack, I'd say it's an undeniably attractive choice. The coup-de-grace would be to find a nice centerpull brake to clean up the frontal profile.
